Hi, this is Marianela Mendoza, Consultant, Professional Mentor & owner of M3. And this is the newsletter that I've been promising myself that I would put out this year. December still counts, goal reached!

If you have no clue who I am or really never wanted to hear from me again, absolutely unsubscribe from this list.

I will not be sending you emails every day. Not even every week. I'll consider it a success if I manage to send you interesting information at least every other month. Less pressure on all of us.

I remind my clients over & over that their audience needs to know what they're doing or what new services are available. So I'm taking my own advice and telling folks about my Services.

M3 Website

Websites are the new business cards, you can't have a presence without one. So, I updated my website myself. Turns out that learning web design to be in total control of the whole creative process was a bit more challenging than anticipated. The real lesson learned: hiring a professional is a time saver.

But I did manage to put together a site that is at least easy to read. You'll find information about my services and the projects I've worked on during my career. 30 years of work is a lot to sort and organize.

Alameda County Latina Chamber of Commerce

Over the last 2 years, I've been working with the the Alameda County Latina Chamber of Commerce. In fact, I'm Secretary of the Board. Yes, my mother is very proud. I have had the pleasure of working with a Board of women who are dedicated and committed to our mission.

The Latina Chamber is focused on supporting Latina Business owners by being a source of support, information and training. The Chamber is focused on increasing the presence of Latinas working to establish themselves in a variety of industries. We also have the amazing distinction of being the only Latina-Focused Chamber of of Commerce in California, and possibly the United Sates.

I invite you to join us on Saturday, the 16th of December, to celebrate our 3rd Annual Posada. Come help us celebrate all the work these amazing women have accomplished.

M3 Articles and Writing

I'm writing more articles for the M3 Blog. I've been encouraged by colleagues, who's opinion I trust, to write and share my perspective. They tell me that I'm entertaining and informative at the same time. Who am I to tell them they're mistaken?

My subjects are unconventional for a Consultant because I write about what I find interesting. And what I find interesting is that all the business journals out there have no interest in addressing the needs of POC or Bilingual business owners that serve immigrant communities. I guess that's where I come in and pick up the slack.

Tarot, Podcasting & Officiating

Did you know I was a Tarot reader with a Podcast about trying to put your life back together, that officiates wedding? Well, now you do.

Had anyone said to me 5 years ago that I would be a professional Tarot Reader with a weekly Live Show, I would have laughed louder than usual. But here I am with a pile of books and decks, telling people not to call their ex-boyfriends. It's been a complete life changing endeavor. Send me a message & we'll set up an appointment.

I also started Fix My Life podcast as a side project. It still is a side project but I did manage to teach myself basic audio editing. I can now call my self a Producer.

Being an officiant isn't new. I registered online as a minister with the Universal Life Church YEARS ago on a whim. I did it for the free parking but I've performed quite a few weddings and each one as been so special. Turns out, I am a romantic at heart.
