Focus!
I’m making an effort to produce some kind of content every day. Or at least have content scheduled to post every day. Currently, I’m focusing my energy on the following:

Fix My Life Podcast is now up to 8 episodes! I figured out the basic tools of sound recording and editing, which is only very apparent in this last episode. I might have been a bit brutal with the delete button regarding dead air. I do re-listen to the episodes (PAINFUL) after I’ve posted to see where I need to focus, what to tweak, where to tighten up. All the little things that keep me up at night. While I do have an outline that I work with while recording I see that I tend to ramble on and forget what my point was. SORRY! I made myself a promise that I would not obsess about the mistakes. So. Hard.
For the last 2 years I’ve been working as the Executive Director of the Oakland Latino Chamber. For long time it has been a 2-person show putting it all together; finding locations and putting together the Mixers, setting up and maintaining monthly board meetings, finding Board Members, finding time to represent our new organization. Like every other labor of love, it hasn’t been easy. BUT our Board of Directors is almost complete and filled by an amazing group of professionals that believe in the OLCC Mission. We have the support of the recognized state-wide Chambers, local government officials and other local NGOS/Non-Profits. I’m working on launching a Membership Drive to support our proposed roster of programs and an operating budget to cover Staff. I’m updating the official website using the tools I have used with my personal work. I’m very excited about the work we’re doing.

M3 website is my personal platform to promote my work and an alternative to a traditional resume: My Idea Incubator. Don’t be surprised if you see changes every time you stop by. (That SideBar is looking busy to me right now…) I’m exploring ways to either keep all of my projects under the M3 umbrella or have each project be its own standalone entity. I’m looking for cohesion not confusion. (I may need to workshop that…) I’m slowly updating my Portfolio Page. I’ve been working since the age of 15 and I want all of my work laid out in one place. To see where I’ve been and where I want to go next. Go take a look. You may be in need of one my skills.
